Breeding requests are NOT accepted.
My own personal 'breed' and I want to keep it that way.
Islutian Horses are a breed I came up with an old story I was working on a LONG time ago. I might have stopped on the story but the breed lives on. As of right now I am not taking requests for this breed. It's copy right to me. Only one has a model and that model isn't the best conformation wise of the breed.
The Islutian Horse hails from the Kingdom of Isluta, an island chain in the Ocean of War. No one is certain when the first horses were brought to Isluta as the breed predates anyone living there. The stallions are the chargers for the vampires who rule the kingdom. As such the largest herd is called the Royal Herd. Mares almost never used for battle but there are a few whom have been deemed worthy enough to be chargers. Some say the Great Goddess, Shyta, had her hand in creating this breed but these are merely rumors. She did have a hand in creating the most powerful of all Islutians, the stallion, Telo. This stallion was born of wind and fire.
Islutians are extremely powerful horses, not only for warfare but also to be used to plow fields and what not. Stallions or geldings are mostly used for that purpose.
Percheron in body type, with an Arabian like head, heavy and wavy mane and tail which is held high naturally. They have have normal hooves or cloven. The most prized is all four feet cloven. The legs are clean of any feathering. Stallions have long canines called sabers, mares have longer than normal canines when compared to other breeds but do not possess sabers. Height ranges is 18 to 20hh.
Colors found: Black (most common), bay, dark bay, liver chestnut, chestnut, flaxen chestnut (rare), gray (extremely rare), light bay (rare), cream is present in the form of palominos, smoky blacks and buckskin but is extremely rare and not bred for. Dark colors are preferred. Normal white markings are found but frowned upon. Sabino is also present but frowned upon.
Colors/patterns not found: Dominant White (aka White Spotting), LP complex, Tobiano, Splash and Frame Overo. Dun, Champagne, Silver and Pearl. Non Dun (nd1 and nd2)
The Islutian horse is also called the Vampire Horse. Yes they do drink blood from time to time along with normal horse foods. They also tend to live a semi feral life. Stallions are normally the only ones to be ridden. They are a mostly calm and friendly breed, a gentle giant if you will. Certain stallions do tend to be more aggressive but that's mostly against other stallions.
Herd dynamics- Herds/bands tend to only have one stallion. Though certain herds/bands do have more than one. It depends on the size of the herd/band. The largest herd/band is called the Royal Herd and is led by Telo, a black with a white mane and tail, though he's not silver. He is the most powerful of all the Islutian horses. No other stallion dares to try to steal a mare from him. Normal horses the herds are led by a mare, not in the case of Islutians. The stallion is the leader, clear and simple. At around 3 or 4 years of age, colts are pushed from the herd. Normally they tend to form bachelor bands until they can make their own herds. Fillies normally stay with their natal herd. But they are free to leave and go to another herd if that's what they want. But they aren't allowed to return to their natal herd.
The Royal Herd is about 300 horses strong though it flucuates. The dominant stallion in this herd is Telo. He has many subbordinant stallions, usually colts of his own.

Stallions
Telo is the lead stallion of the Royal Herd. He was created by the Great Goddess, Shyta. Ageless.
Solid Black, no white markings, white mane and tail. No he isn't a black silver. He stands 20hh. And he has cloven hooves on all four feet.
His name in the old Islutian tongue means Treasure.
He is a CM Stone Standing Draft that is currently damaged. He's in need of repairs. A friend shown him for me and let me know that his tail was starting to uplift from his body. Now two or so years later it's even worse. He was done by Plucky Pony Ranch.
Pic credit @ Kaitlyn White and for her showing him for me back in his prime showing days.
